Long Prairie is known for their popular festivals and events, with Prairie Days celebrated Downtown on Central Ave. Prairie Days features a Country Cruisers Car Show, games, inflatables, food vendors, a dunking tank and 5 bands. Also home to the Todd County Fair, the community is abuzz with activity every summer as people come to participate in, or view, 4-H events and arts & craft displays. The Todd County Fair also features live music, tasty food and carnival rides.
Long Prairie Festivals and Events
Memorial Day Service, Parade and Program, held annually on Memorial Day. 9:45 am: Memorial Service at Riverside Bridge. 10 am: Parade from cemetery to Central Ave. The parade is followed by a program at Veterans’ Memorial.
Concert at the Park, Thursday evenings, June-August between the Veteran’s Memorial and the Christie House Museum located at the intersection of Central Ave and 1st St South.
Farmers Market, Friday afternoons, June through October. Time: 2 – 6pm, Location: Coborn’s parking lot on HWY 71

Saturday: CentraCare Health Fun Run, Family Fun Fest: Inflatables, kids activities, Country Cruisers Car Show, food Vendors and, 6 bands playing from 11am-12 am, evening parade, and beer garden, Long Drive-In movie.
Sunday: Fireman’s Waffle Breakfast 7 – 11am, Long Prairie Predators baseball game, Long Drive-In movie.
Todd County Fair, held annually, offers 4-H and open class competitions, entertainment, food, display booths, demo derby, tractor pull, midway, games, and concessions. Dates: July 15-18, 2021 toddcountyfair.com
Veterans Bike-n-Trike Rally @ Todd County Fairgrounds, August 27-29. Vendors, music, games, Ultimate vehicle challenge, demolition derby, burn-out contest & lighted biker parade are just some of things the weekend has in store for you. Bright Nights, Friday evening after Thanksgiving. Lighted parade, Santa at the Senior Center, music, carolling and family activities downtown Long Prairie.
