Candace Bruder

Candace Bruder has served as the City of Long Prairie’s City Administrator/Clerk since
June of 2024 but has been a faucet in the City of Long Prairie since 2020 starting as the
Utility Billing Clerk and has previous work experience at the City of Osakis as a part-
time clerk. Her daily goal is to improve the operations and organize the funds for the
city and to utilize the excellent staff to their fullest potential and to improve the
community to make it a better place to live. Her credentials include a bachelor’s degree
in business administration with an emphasis in Finance from Bemidji State University.
She is passionate about keeping the city running smoothly and continuing to find ways
to organize and streamline the day-to-day operations of the city.

When she’s not busy at City Hall, Candy enjoys spending time with her husband and
four children at all their sporting/school events in both college and high school and
embracing all the little things that truly make life important such as her family, career
and making the surrounding community a better place to live, learn and grow.
