Katrina Scheve

Katrina Scheve has served as the City of Long Prairie’s Deputy Clerk since June of
2024. She is native of Long Prairie and takes pride in giving back to the community that
she grew up in and truly enjoys her roles and involvement in the city. She draws on her
previous work experience in accounting, secretarial and organizational skills to keep city
operations running smoothly and efficiently and is always finding ways to improve the
day-to-day operations. She brings a positive and encouraging attitude and creates a
festive environment in the office.

When she’s not at City Hall, Katie is on the go with her kids’ many activities and
enjoying family life to the fullest. She is very active and involved in the community and
the organizations that her children are involved in, and she brings a hometown
perspective and a passion for helping Long Prairie continue to thrive.
