Joseph Miller

Joseph Miller has served as the City of Long Prairie’s Utility Billing Clerk since June of
2024. He grew up in South Chicago but has been calling Wadena home for the past
eight years and comes from the City of Henning as their Deputy Clerk for about three
years. His credentials include a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership Studies with a
concentration in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University. He is also a proud
veteran of the United States Army and Joe brings dedication, discipline, and a servant-
leader mindset to his role. He is also bilingual in English and Spanish, a skill that helps
strengthen communication and connection in Long Prairie’s diverse community.

When he’s not assisting residents at City Hall, Joe can often be found exploring
Minnesota’s lakes, trails, and hidden gems with his favorite travel partner - his wife.
Together, they enjoy discovering all the beauty of MN landscapes and going on
adventures on the weekend.
