ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: SNOW REMOVAL TRUCKING SERVICES CITY OF LONG PRAIRIE, MN

The City of Long Prairie is accepting sealed bids for snow removal trucking services during the 2026-2027 winter season.

The work consists of furnishing suitable trucks and qualified operators necessary to perform snow hauling services as directed by the City Public Works Director. The City will provide personnel and equipment necessary to load snow into contractor trucks. Contractors shall be responsible for transporting and unloading snow at locations designated by the City. Contractors shall be available to respond on a twenty-four (24) hour per day, seven (7) day per week basis. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis and only upon direction of the City Public Works Director or their designated representative.

Bidders shall submit an hourly rate for truck and operator, a description and capacity of the truck(s) proposed for use, proof of insurance, confirmation of required licensing and registrations, response time following notification by the City, and primary and after-hours contact information.

Sealed bids must be received by the City no later than 4:00 p.m. on October 15th, 2026, and shall be clearly marked: "SNOW REMOVAL TRUCKING SERVICES BID"

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding process, and to award contracts to one or more contractors if determined to be in the best interest of the City. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 61 days after the Bid opening, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner.
